Tenants Guide & Fees
Tenant Fees
- Holding Deposit: Equivalent to one week’s rent, deducted from the first month’s rent. Full details and terms are available upon request.
- Late Payment of Rent: Interest charged at 3% above the Bank of England base rate on any overdue rent. If the rent is more than 14 days late, this interest can be applied from the date the payment was due (backdated to the due date).
- Tenancy Agreement Variation: £50 fee for each agreed change to the tenancy agreement requested by the tenant.
- Early Termination (Tenant’s Request): If a tenant wishes to end the tenancy early, they may be required to pay the landlord's reasonable costs for re-letting and for all rent due until a new tenancy begins. However, these costs will not exceed the total rent outstanding on the tenancy.
- Lost Keys or Security Devices: Tenants will be charged the cost of replacing any lost keys or security devices during the tenancy.
- Change of Sharer: £50 fee for each replacement tenant on the tenancy agreement (at the tenant’s request).
